Day 2,Aankomst Delhi

Delhi - is een stad die twee verschillende werelden overbrugt. Old Delhi, ooit de hoofdstad van Islamitisch India, is een labyrint van smalle steegjes vol afbrokkelende haveli's en formidabele moskeeën. In tegenstelling staat , de keizerlijke stad New Delhi gemaakt door de Britten, samengesteld uit ruime, met bomen omzoomde lanen en imposante overheidsgebouwen. Delhi is de zetel van de macht voor verschillende heersers en vele koningen voor ongeveer een millennium. Vaak werd de stad gebouwd, verwoest en herbouwd. Interessant is dat een aantal heersers uit Delhi een dubbele rol speelden, eerst als vernietigers en vervolgens als scheppers Bij aankomst op de airport van New Delhi, zal u onze vertegenwoordiger ontmoeten en volgt een transfer naar het hotel. Day 5,Day 05: Delhi - Mandawa (257 Kms /5 Hrs)

(BREAKFAST AT HOTEL + CITY TOUR WITH GUIDE) After breakfast & checkout from the hotel drive to Mandawa. Mandawa is a small town in the heart of Shekhawati region. The place is known not only for its havelis but also for its Fort Palace. The structure of the palace reminds of the cultural and social importance of this region in the past. Of the havelis, the most important are the Chokhani, Ladia, Binsidhar Newatia, and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. Another haveli, the Binsidhar Newatia Haveli, is known for its curious paintings. Upon arrival, visit “Open Art Gallery” Havelis & Frescoes paintings. The open air-art-gallery', as it is popularly called, is famous for its plethora of painted havelis, all commendable pieces of the rich artistic tradition of this region. Later check in at hotel. The museum is the best place for those interested in puppetry. Bagore ki Haveli - There is a very congenial old building built right on the waterfront of Lake Pichola. Day 10,Udaipur – Pushkar – Jaipur (380 Kms / 7.5 hrs)

Day 11,Jaipur

(BREAKFAST AT HOTEL + CITY TOUR + DINNER AT CHOKHI DHANI) After an early breakfast at hotel, visit the majestic Amber Fort and Palace, originally constructed by Raja Mansingh and one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture. Enjoy the unique experience of an ascent on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant, up to the Fort. In the afternoon, visit the city’s Palace Complex holds several museums that contain impressive collections of miniature paintings, costumes, and armor. Sheesh Mahal built in the 17th century in a fusion style of Hindu and Islamic art. Also see the hall of public audiences and Maharaja Man Singh's Palace who had twelve queens. Later see the Jantar Mantar Observatory, a sanctuary of the astronomer king, Maharaja Jai Singh II. Nearby, the intriguing Palace of the Wind, the Hawa Mahal, was built in 1799 to allow ladies from the royal family to view the city and bazaar below in privacy. Day 12,Jaipur – Agra (250 Kms / 5.5 hrs)

Agra, situated on the west bank of River Yamuna, Agra was once the flourishing capital of the Muslim rulers of India. Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire – giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {seat of the Emperor}. Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughals still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mughal heritage most conspicuously. On arrival check-in at hotel. Day 13,Agra – Mathura & Vrindavan – Delhi (200 Kms / 4.5 hrs)

It is the place of temples, where we can feel the sound of Krishna in the air itself. It was the capital of the surasena kingdom. The maternal uncle of shri Krishna was the king of this city. And The word vrindavan is the mixture of two words ‘vrinda’ and ‘van’. The meaning of vrinda is tulsi. It is said that the entire place was covered with tulsi. On arrival visit Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple. Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple is the most sought after devout centers in Mathura. Its predominance over the other holy spots are due to the belief that the temple stands on the same place where lord Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudev.
